Today...
A warm welcome awaits you at Nina Baptist Church. We are an organized body of baptized believers who are encouraged to grow in a relationship with Jesus Christ through:

About Us
Today we believe, just as the church believed in 1929, that Jesus is the only way to salvation and eternal life. We are committed in providing the resources, encouragement, and insight needed to make a stronger person and a strong family. Only you can build a stronger self and family, but Nina Baptist Church can show you how to use the tools.
We would like to invite you to participate in the activities of the church and see for yourself!
Plan of Salvation
There is only one way to Heaven.
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by Me.” (John 14:6)
There are not multiple ways to get to Heaven. Contrary to today’s teachings, all the world is not worshipping the same god. Any attempt to get to Heaven other than the Gospel of Jesus Christ is a lie.
Being a good person is not good enough.
“There is none righteous, no, not one… There is none that doeth good, no, not one.” (Romans 3:10, 12)
Many people claim “I am a good person.” While that may be true, being a good person does not grant you enough favor with God to get you into Heaven. By whose standard are in you judging yourself, your own, or God’s? Jesus taught that if you have ever hated someone, you have committed murder in your heart. If you have ever lusted after someone, you have committed adultery in your heart. These are only two of the Ten Commandments. My friend, you will be found guilty before God.
Doing good works will not work.
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: It is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9)
Likewise, there is no amount of good deeds we could do to earn our way into Heaven. It is not about what we do, it is about what Christ has already done. We are saved by faith, not our good works.
The Bible says that all people are sinners.
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23)
“Wherefore, as by one man sin entered the world, and death by sin; so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.” (Romans 5:12)
“If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar and His Word is not in us.” (1 John 1:10)
Every person on the planet is a sinner. We are all born with a sinful nature. You do not have to teach your children to sin; you have to teach them not to sin. Our sin separates us and keeps us from God.
God’s Word also says that sin must be paid for.
“For the wages of sin is death.” (Romans 6:23)
Wages mean payment. The payment of sin is death and hell, separation from God forever. If we continue in our sin, we shall die without Christ and be without God forever.
The good news is that Christ paid for our sins.
“But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)
Jesus took upon Himself all of our sin on the cross. The Bible says that without the shedding of blood, there is no remission for sin. Christ shed His precious blood for you and me, and paid our sin debt for us. The Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross, was buried, and three days later arose from the dead. He is alive forevermore.
It doesn’t matter where you’ve been, or what you’ve done. You may think you have done something that God will not forgive. My friend, it truly doesn’t matter. God wants to forgive you. He longs to make you His very own. The Creator of the universe wants to have a personal relationship with you. Yes, even you. He will forgive you. All you have to do is ask, and believe.
We must personally pray and recieve Christ by faith.
The Bible says, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” (Romans 10:9-10)
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13)
The Bible says “whosoever believeth in Him should not perish”, and “whosoever shall call upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved.” Friends, the word “whosoever” literally means “everyone.” This includes you an me.
What do I do? Pray and receive Christ as your savior.
Dear God,
I realize that I am a sinner. I realize that if I die today, I will not go to heaven. I believe that Jesus died on the cross to pay for my sin. I want to turn from my old life of sin. Please forgive my sin, come into my heart, and be my Savior. Help me live my life for you from this day forward.
In Jesus’ Name,
Amen.
